What Visa Do British Patients Need for Dental Treatment in India?

The Indian medical e-Visa is the category intended for travel for medical treatment, applied for online ahead of time rather than on arrival. Two arrangements need to be in place before travel, the visa itself and your flights into Delhi (DEL), the destination for both our clinics, Greater Kailash (GK) and Netaji Subhash Place (NSP). We do not treat from Mumbai.

Questions about this procedure?

Which British Cities Have Flights to Delhi?

Flights connect to Delhi (DEL) from London and Manchester. Before booking, confirm your treatment dates with your coordinator, apply for the Indian medical e-Visa online, request any supporting documents in advance, and confirm current routes and durations with your airline, as schedules change seasonally.

Should I Bring My Dental Records From the UK?

Yes. Prior radiographs, CBCT or OPG images, a medication list, and any history from your local dentist help us plan your assessment accurately. Bring them digitally and, where possible, on disc, along with your passport, e-Visa, treatment plan, and current medications in labelled packaging.

Curious about costs and timelines?

Coordination With Your Care

Bring your existing records with you. Prior radiographs, a list of your medications, and any history from your British dentist or physician help us plan accurately at the assessment appointment. After treatment, the records we hand back travel with you for your local British dentist, and your remote follow-up schedule is set before you fly home.
