For true emergencies (e.g., severe infection symptoms), your coordinator may advise visiting an emergency dental service or hospital rather than waiting for a scheduled appointment.

Tier 2: Priority (24-48 Hour Response)

Moderate pain or discomfort despite analgesics, minor to moderate swelling or bruising, prosthetic instability or looseness affecting function, minor oozing or bleeding, or bite misalignment causing dysfunction. Your coordinator responds within 24 hours, typically arranges a video consultation where they assess your concern visually, may arrange a clinical call with a surgical team member if needed, provides guidance on management (e.g., anti-inflammatories, temporary adjustments, dietary modifications), and determines whether local dental intervention is advisable. Many Tier 2 concerns resolve with guidance and reassurance.

Tier 3: Non-Urgent (Within 72 Hours)
