How Many Trips to India Do I Need for Dental Implants?

1 trip for most cases. Days 1–2: extraction/implant placement. Day 3–7: healing. If immediate loading is possible: crown delivered same trip. If delayed loading needed: 3–6 months osseointegration, crown by local dentist using our specifications. No second trip required.
All-on-4 / All-on-6 (Full Arch)
1 trip for most cases: 7–10 days. Day 1: assessment + CBCT. Day 2: surgery + same-day provisional teeth. Days 3–7: recovery + adjustments. Days 8–10: impressions, final checks, travel clearance. Definitive zirconia prosthesis: delivered on this trip (if case complexity allows) or on a second 3–5 day trip 4–6 months later.
Full Mouth Rehabilitation (Both Arches)
1–2 trips depending on complexity. Most All-on-4/All-on-6 full-mouth cases: 1 trip (7–10 days) with provisional teeth, then remote monitoring. Definitive prosthesis delivered on first trip for most patients. Complex cases (zygomatic, multiple extraction phases, staged healing): 2 trips.
Zygomatic / Pterygoid Cases
1 trip for surgical phase (10–14 days). Provisional teeth delivered same day. Second trip optional (3–5 days) for definitive prosthesis after 4–6 months osseointegration. Many patients choose to have the definitive prosthesis fabricated remotely and delivered by courier - with local dentist fit supervised by our team remotely.
Why You Should Never Rush the Timeline
Osseointegration (bone-implant bonding) takes 3–6 months regardless of where treatment occurs. Loading too early increases implant failure risk. At Stunning Dentistry, we never compress timelines to accommodate travel schedules - we compress them only when biology supports it.
